Our skirting boards, sometimes referred to as architrave skirting board, should not be confused with PVC skirting board, DIY plastic skirting board or DIY uPVC skirting. Made from duropolymer, this is a quality Orac product harder than soft wood, but can be repaired in exactly the same way. It is suitable for the professional trades person or home installer.

To install your DIY skirting board, general skills are all that are needed. As DIY skirting, once measured, cutting is the same as with wood using a saw, preferably a thicker blade for directional stability and with small sharp teeth. If required, any slight unevenness in surfaces can be filled using our filler. Adhesion is rapid, but there is ample time to make adjustments. With the primed surface, finishing and painting is made easier. Install using the correct adhesives.
