Instructions for performing a transplant:

After selecting a good scion and cutting it (wipe the grafting knife with alcohol) for a perfect fit to the rootstock (the canbium layer should be in good contact), tie with nursery tape or rubber .

Apply this grafting tape to the grafting area, overlap 3 to 4 times.

Cover the transplant area with a clear plastic bag. If there is direct sunlight on the transplant area, use a brown paper lunch bag to cover it for protection.

After 3 weeks, if the scion still looks quite greenish, there is a good chance that you will see the new bud coming out of the scion in 4-8 weeks depending on the temperature.
